Are you thinking about getting new appliances? Are you thinking about switching to all propane appliances? The Minnesota Propane Association (MPA) offers a rebate program for customers wh0 switch from electric (or other fuel) to propane appliance as well as replacing an old water heater with a new one.

Eligible installations are appliances purchased and installed within 90 days of the postmarked date of the application. new construction, initial installation or to replace an existing (or other fuel) appliance with a new propane appliance, or in the case of water heaters to replace an old water heater with a new one are all eligible for this rebate program.

Rebate rates are as followed:
New Construction, Initial Installation, or Change of Energy Source
$250  Propane Furnace/Boiler
$150  Propane Clothes Dryer
$150  Propane Fireplace/Space Heater
$150  Propane Garage Heater
$400  Propane Water Heater

$150  Replace existing water heater with new propane unit

To receive the rebates, River Country Cooperative must perform a safety inspection on the new installed appliances. WE DO NOT INSTALL APPLIANCES. We also need a receipt of the purchase date because appliances must be installed within 90 days of the purchased date.  If you are interested in this program, please call 651-451-1151 to set up a safety check time and fill out all application forms.
