RCC Energy update Monday 09/17/2018
NYMEX @ the close.
- October WTI Crude down $0.08 @ $68.91
- RBOB up .66 cents.
- October ULSD down .28 cents.
- Gasoline up 4.5 cents.
- Diesel up 2 cents.
- LP finished down .25 cents at the Conway, Kansas hub.
None of the terminals along the Colonial and Plantation pipe lines that run from Louisiana to New Jersey are reporting any outages due to Florence. Traders are still taking a bit of wait and see.
The sanctions against Iran that are coming to head in November are looming in the market.
The local markets, especially gasoline, were spurred by a report that a major trader is short gasoline for the Chicago trade area for third quarter. Doesn’t necessarily explain the 2 up on diesel today though.
